Spirit German Pinschers

  In 2003, I saw my first German Pinscher at a dog show right after they had been accepted in the American Kennel Club.  I was intrigued by their size and  demeanor so I began researching the breed that would eventually become the only breed for me.

  Even though German Pinschers are new to AKC, they are an old breed in Germany.  German Pinschers are medium-size dogs that were bred to work the farms in Germany as ratters and for protection.  They are very dominant and are not for the first-time dog owner.  These high-energy dogs are very protective of their owners and property and also have a high prey drive. 

  Always investigate a breed before purchasing a dog to make sure that they meet your needs as a pet or show dog.  It is a life long commitment.

SPIRIT GERMAN PINSCHERS ARE BRED TO THE AKC BREED STANDARD AND ARE OCCASIONALLY AVAILABLE FOR SHOW HOMES AND AS COMPANION DOGS.

  SPIRIT GERMAN PINSCHERS ARE ALL REGISTERED WITH THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB AND BRED TO THE AKC BREED STANDARD. 

   THE TEMPERAMENT AND HEALTH OF THE DOGS ARE TWO OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ATTIBUTES THAT WE LOOK FOR IN THE DOGS.  NOT EVERY PUPPY GOES TO THE SHOW RING BUT PUPPIES THAT GO TO GOOD COMPANION HOMES ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT.
